Over the past few months life really has been a busy one for me and my three wonderful children having finally moved into our new house in July 2013 its been a long and bumpy ride for myself and my children. Having waited 10 years to move on and make a fresh new start away from our old two bedroom flat we use to call our home. We had so many good but also some bad memories there, so when we got our new house we couldn't wait to pack and move all our stuff into our new home. I have to admit life really couldn't be better yes there has been times the children have missed their old friends and wanted to go back but over the past months they have adjusted really well to their new surroundings. For the first few months they travelled a 45 minute journey back and fourth to their old school having lost appeal to move to a closer school, but I didn't give up till Callum and Michaela were finally moved to the school I went to as a child. They both settled in really well and made lots of new friends straight away.
Michaela also received an award for settling in really well which was such a lovely surprise it made her feel more welcome and had the biggest smile on her face.
Im so proud of both my children for the effort they have made to settle into a new school having had so many great friends at their old school they have had to leave behind also for getting up at 6am every morning and travelling that 45minutes to school and back by bus. I have noticed moving can have a big effect on children both mentally and physically I did notice a big change in mine but things are getting better.
I've been so busy focusing on my children and getting them in to a whole knew routine and working on the house ive neglected my blog but im back now and looking forward to posting lots of new reviews competitions and also keeping you up to date on how my little ones are getting on.
