Can you name all the Kings and Queens of England?
‘The Little Book of Monarchs’ is probably the most concise English history book ever published. It swiftly sorts out all those Edwards, Henrys and Georges, all the major battles, rebellions and bizarre deaths across ten turbulent centuries.
The author Tony Boullemier has vividly summed up all 42 rulers of England since 1066 and condensed each reign into five key bullet points. Every ruler is illustrated by a clever cartoon that will stick in the memory.
The Little Book Of Monarchs is for younger readers, aged 10 +, The Little Book of Monarchs will provide a chronological narrative order, giving a firm foundation for future history studies. As a child history wasn't one of my top subjects where as my son Callum loves history and has been covering a lot of topics over the last couple of weeks, we was sent The Little Book of Monarch to review and Callum has found it very useful at school and at home whilst doing his home work.
Callum loves the fact that there isn't a lot of writing to read which some children can find rather daunting, there are some pictures on each page which Callum found rather funny so id say he really did enjoy reading this book.
The book has 11 chapters each is set from The Normans, The House of York, The Tudors and The Windsors.
THE LITTLE BOOK OF MONARCHS is priced at £7.99 and written by Tony Boullemier illustrated by Adrian Teal and is based on English History with a smile on its face.
