As a busy mum of three lunch times have become none existent i just never seem to find the time, after the school run doing the shopping and starting the household chores time just seems to fly by and before i know it lunch time has past and my tummy is rumbling, i just don't have the time to prepare myself lunch before picking the children up. So when i was asked to try some of Tasty little numbers heat and eat pots i just couldn't say no.
When they arrived i opened the box to find a selection of different flavours and boy did they look delicious , i just couldn't wait to get stuck in. I have one favourite which is the Chicken Tikka Masala with lemon basmati ric, it just smelt and tasted delicous it had lemon basmati rice and succulent chicken breast in an aromatic onion & tomato sauce, chargrilled red peppers and roasted butternut squash, before heating it i read the instructions just to double check i was doing it correctly as there was no plastic film to pierce you just had to loosen the lid and pop you pot in the microwave for 3 to 4 Min's depending on which watt microwave you have, then allow 1 min to stand, stir thoroughly and of you go.
I would have to say Tasty little numbers heat and eat pots really are a quick and easy tasty snack excellent for busy people who just don't have time to cook or prepare a quick and healthy snack during the day, one thing i would like to add though is once you have heated up your snack pot it does take a while for it to cool down and the plastic can become to hot to hold making it a little difficult to eat straight away if you are in a rush or on the go, so maybe it could do with some kind of cardboard around the pot to add an extra layer which may helpwhen holding your pot if you are eating on the go.
