We was kindly invited to visit our local Build-a-Bear shop to learn and enjoy the experience of how to bring your teddy bear to life, these bears are extra special they are picked, stuffed and dressed by your children. They can choose which ever bear they like, place a sound inside there bear they can even pick a heart that is placed inside your bear that beats where u hugs your bear. Thereare lots of amazing clothes & shoes to dress your bear in, there is also so some cool accessories & incredible outfits for special occasions such as Halloween. When i first walked in to the Build-a Bear Workshop i couldn't believe my eyes i feel in love with all the cute little clothes & accessories you could buy. Callum and Michaela were so excited they went to have quick look around before we got started making there bears.
We were then greeted by a gentlemen called Gaz he welcomed our family to the Build-Bear-Workshop before introducing us to a lovely lady Called Laura who would will be showing us around the store and helping us make and dress our bears.
Laura first took us to choose our bears there was a great selection some for boys and some for girls,
We then moved on to the Stuff me Station where there was a machine which had a window, you could see it spinning with losts off fluff inside. The machine stuffed the bears with fluff by a tube which is place into the back of the bear. They each got to choose how soft they wanted there bears to be Callum chose his to be big and fat, Michaela chose soft and I chose soft and cuddly in the middle for Davina.
Before there bears were closed up they each had a choice of a pre- recorded sound or songs which are placed in side there bear this was an optional choice, you could also choose to have a heart beat placed in side your bear this was a plastic red heart that beats just like a real heart does.
Each bear also comes with a virtual heart were each child warms it up in the palms of there hands, Make a wish and puts it inside there new furry friend. This is a magical moment which brings there furry friends to life and creates an unforgettable memory.
After there bears had been stuffed, hugged and given a heart it was time to stitch them up at the Stitch Me Station were each bear was stitched up using there very own patented pre-lace system.
Callum and Michaela then took there furry friends to the Fluff Me Station where they gave there furry friends the spa treatment and brushed there fur, the smiles and concentration on there face showed just how much they loved doing this.
Once there furry friends have been pampered they then went with Laura to the Dress Me Station were they each got to choose and outfit from a wide selection of Outfit's and Accessories this was so much fun.
It was now time to give there bears a name where they each got to create a personalised certificate, this also registered there bears in the Find-A-Bear ID tracking system this is a unique Build-A-Bear Workshop feature the helps lost bears find there way back home.
Callum, Michaela and Davina each got to carry there bears home in and exclusive Cub Condo Carry Case.
We have had such a great day at the Build-A-Bear Workshop all the staff were very friendly and welcoming towards my self and the children, We cant wait to return and purchase more clothes and accessories for our new furry friends.
Callum, Michaela and Davina love there new Best friends and have not put them down since getting home they have even had them sleeping with them i found Michaela snuggled up in bed cuddling her new furry friends called Daisy.
